REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEIVING THE P.A.L. PRO-LIFE AWARD PIN

 

All application must include participation in five (5) Pro-Life activities in a 12 month period.  Four out of these 5 must have to do with the unborn, such as:

 

Pro-Life Masses                                                Pro-Life Counseling

Pro-Life Parades                                               Volunteer Work at Women’s Center

Pro-Life Rosaries                                              March for Life

Pro-Life Awards Dinners                                  Run for Life

Pro-Life Fund Raising                                       Private Vitae/Caring Foundation donations      Etc., Etc., Etc.

 

 

The fifth qualifier can either be one of the above, or can be an activity such as Special Olympics, hospice, entertainment for nursing or veterans homes, Prison Concern activities,etc.

 

*To be Pro-Life, we must be Pro-Life from conception to natural death, so we must

              Remember those who have been forgotten and left to die, thus the visits to Hospice,

              Nursing homes, etc.   Four items must be for the unborn, plus one more for the

              Living.  So many abortions are performed when tests indicate Downs Syndrome, or

              Some other defect, that the work of those in the Special Olympics must be commended.

 

*Private Pro-Life events, such as saying a rosary or offering a private Mass Intention

              are NOT to be counted.

 

*Form may be submitted at any time in the fraternal year.

 

*P.A.L. award pins, whenever possible, will be sent to the District Deputy for

              presentation

 

*While we encourage ALL to support the Pro-Life work, only one pin will be presented

              per person.
