FAMILY INVOLVEMENT WEST 2014‐2015
Seems like it was only yesterday when I brought the kids home from thehospital; and tonight have to hurry home from work and get ready for a ballgame, but not for them, but the grandkids. Time flies and when it is gone you can’t get it back, we need to get involved with our families while there is still time.
So with that in mind we as the State Council will be having a “Night at the TBones” on August 16, 2014 game starting at 7:05 p.m. We have purchased 30 tickets as a starting point, but can order more if needed. The tickets will sell for $15.00 with the proceeds going to the Meet Life campaign in the Kansas City area. If you want to go and bring the family I need to know as soon as possible and have the money by August 1. Please make checks payable to Missouri Columbian Charities. As with all Knights of Columbus functions, I know that a good time will be had by all that make this event.

We are also planning a hockey night with the Missouri Mavericks in January 2015. They do not have their schedule for the new year yet so the exact date cannot be set at this time. Will know more after the first part of August and get the information out to everyone.
Family involvement is more than just going to events; it is getting together and doing things like Mass, prayers, a night at the movies and dinner or just hanging out telling old stories about the family. I still remember the stories my folks told about family and the community we lived in.
Missouri get Involved.
