KofC Ladies Auxiliary

"Helping Knights Help Others"

Every year it is a task for the State Chair Couple to start new Auxiliaries. When a new Council or Assembly is formed this is a great opportunity to start an Auxiliary. Some helpful information to give to your Councils thinking about starting an Auxiliary could be the following. Across the State we have 101 Auxiliaries. We have 3,378 members. At the 2014 Convention these numbers were collected and tabulated:

  • Volunteer Hours: 221,828 hours
  • Grand Total Donations: $293,393

The Auxiliaries work long hours and work hard on projects to be able to donate this amount of money. Utilizing their motto, “Helping Knights Help Others”.

Please encourage your Auxiliaries to attend the Area Meetings. This is the time when Presidents and their board members have a chance to talk with other Auxiliaries in their areas. They learn what forms are needed to be filled out for the State and why. It’s also a nice opportunity for them to hear fresh ideas from other Auxiliaries. Some may be experiencing the same issues. Or some may just need to “brag” about their Auxiliary with pride. All the meetings begin at 1:00 pm with some type of lunch/dessert. The ladies will be done between 3 and 3:30 pm.
Schedule is posted on the website.

In talking with the Auxiliary Presidents we find some members don’t know their District Deputy. Please don’t be afraid of them. We depend on you to bring information back to us. Is the auxiliary working well? Are there any problems? If we can work with an Auxiliary BEFORE they start having thoughts of going in-active it could possibly make a difference. Increasing our number of Auxiliaries is important, but we need to take care of our established ones also.

Please include your Ladies Auxiliaries when receiving the Program Manuals to take back to your District. One per Auxiliary please. They need them in the summer so they can plan their activities. When you plan your summer meeting with your Councils and Assemblies, do not forget to invite the Presidents of the Auxiliaries. Perfect opportunity to give them the following:

  • 2014-2015 State Directory and Program Manual
  • Any Awards and Certificates not distributed at the State Convention

Thank you everyone for how you have helped us this past year. Congratulations to our new District Deputies. It can be a very rewarding time for you. We look forward in working with all of you and wish everyone a “fun” and productive year.

Here you will find all the information you need to start, join, run, and become outstanding with your Auxiliary.

The "Information and Forms" section has all the details, forms, procedures, instructions, programs, and reports for successfully organizing and maintaining your Auxiliary.

The "Area Meetings" section has the schedule of the Auxiliary Meetings for the fraternal year.

If you have any questions or suggestions we are only a phone call away.
