P.A.L. Requirements

Pro-Life Award Pin Requirements:

To be Pro-Life, we must be Pro-Life, from conception to natural death, so we must remember those who have been forgotten and left to die, thus the visits to Hospice and Nursing Homes, etc. Four items must be for the unborn, plus one or more for the Living. So many abortions are performed when tests indicate Down Syndrome, or some other defect that the work of those in the Special Olympics must be commended.

Forms may be submitted at any time in the fraternal year.

P.A.L. Award Pins, whenever possible, will be sent to your District Deputy for presentation. While we encourage ALL to support the Pro-Life Work, only one pin will be presented per person. This form is available on the Missouri State Council Web Site: MOKofC.org.

Private Pro-Life events, such as saying the rosary or offering a private Mass Intention are NOT to be counted.

All Applications must include participation in five (5) Pro-Life activities in a 12 month period. Four out of these 5 must have to do with the unborn, such as:

  • Pro-Life Masses
  • Pro-Life Counseling
  • Pro-Life Parades
  • Volunteer Work at a Women’s Center
  • Pro-Life Rosaries
  • March for Life
  • Pro-Life Awards Dinners
  • Run for Life
  • Pro-Life Fund Raising
  • Private Donations to Vitae Caring Foundation

The fifth qualifier can either be one of the above or can be an activity such as Special Olympics, Hospice, entertainment for Nursing or Veterans Homes, Prison Concern Activities, etc.
